According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, a search warrant was executed by Sheriff's Office personnel, with the assistance of the Cedar Bluff Police Department, at a residence on County Road 92 in Cedar Bluff.  Law enforcement seized over 2 ounces of methamphetamine. 

The resident, Frank Watson, age 72, was taken into custody and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Watson was also arrested on parole violation and is in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
