Gaylesville Man Charged with Distribution of Drugs…

On Thursday, September 7, 2017, Sheriff Jeff Shaver, deputies, investigators, and Leesburg Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Highway 68 in Gaylesville. The search warrant was the result of a drug investigation by Sheriff’s Office investigators and Leesburg Police.  Illegal drugs, including methamphetamine and marijuana were recovered from the residence.  The investigation resulted in warrants for distribution for two suspects, including Terry Van Inman, 46, and Joshua S. Hardin, 32, both of Gaylesville.  Inman was taken into custody and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and first degree unlawful possession of marijuana.  Hardin is wanted for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
