According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, two individuals were charged on Friday in connection with with the theft of a firearm from Sand Rock. Investigator Brian Gilliland charged Jennifer H. Dunn, 40 of Centre, with second degree theft of property and Andrew D. Fountain, 36 of Sand Rock, with fourth degree receiving stolen property. Fountain is also in custody on a warrant for non-support and a bond revocation. Investigator Gilliland, with the assistance of Deputy Seth Rochester and Cedar Bluff Police, was able to recover the stolen firearm.

Both suspects remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
