Cherokee County Sheriff's Office investigators recovered a stolen car on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, in Cedar Bluff.  According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, the abandoned vehicle was reported stolen from Vestavia Hills in Jefferson County, Alabama, more than a month ago.  The vehicle was towed to the Sheriff's Office impound and will be returned to the owner.
