According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County deputies arrested two people on Monday, July 25, 2016, at a residence on U.S. Highway 411 in the Forney Community.   Deputies and investigators responded to the residence after an alert relative notified law enforcement about suspicious people around the house.  Corporal Gene Knowles and Deputy Daniel Money arrested Amanda L. Livingston, 44, for burglary third degree and criminal trespassing, and Shane L. Shell, 39, for criminal trespassing.  Both Livingston and Shell are from Piedmont.  The suspects were on the property unlawfully, and it is alleged that Livingston unlawfully entered an outbuilding.  No property was stolen thanks to the alert caller and the quick response of deputies.
