Investigation of Fight with Injuries in Gaylesville

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, on Monday, June 20, 2016, officers responded to the scene of a fight on County Road 114 in the Gaylesville area.  Deputy Tyler Perea discovered two men with injuries which required medical attention.  One man, who had sustained stab wounds, was flown by helicopter to a hospital.  The other man had head injuries and was treated and released at a local hospital.   The Cherokee County Major Crimes Unit is conducting an investigation of the incident,  but no one has been charged at this time.
