On Thursday, June 2, 2016, investigators made two arrests in connection with a theft that occurred in the Hopewell Community.  According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators recovered several items of stolen property that were taken from a vehicle.  Melissa D. Farr, 39, and Brandy J. Cobb, 34, both of Leesburg, were arrested and charged with third degree theft of property and breaking and entering a motor vehicle.  Both are currently being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
