   According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, three individuals were arrested following a traffic stop in Sand Rock Monday afternoon.  Agents with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit made a traffic stop and detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, which warranted a search.  Agents found a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.  A records check of the vehicle’s occupants revealed Donald Ray Mitchell had an outstanding warrant for non-support, and Rose Marie Koop was wanted on outstanding charges for distribution of a controlled substance.  Koop and another passenger, Theresa Marie Meyer, were additionally charged with 1st degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  All three were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
