According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, several stolen vehicles and watercraft have recently been recovered by investigators and patrol deputies.  A 1994 Buick stolen from a residence on County Road 114 was recovered just after midnight in a field off County Road 80.  Deputy Nick Vaughn found the stolen vehicle while assisting game and fish officers working in the area.  The owner of an all-terrain vehicle discovered his stolen property after thieves abandoned it.  Another stolen vehicle was found in close proximity.  A fishing boat taken from a lake lot was recovered and has been returned to the owner.  A suspect in the boat theft is in custody.  Investigators continue to work on these cases and more arrests are expected soon.
