Meth Lab County Road 12, Oct 26, 2010
According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, on Wednesday, October 26, Cherokee County Narcotics Unit agents discovered a large one pot clandestine methamphetamine lab operation, 38 reaction vessels, over 50 gas generators and other chemicals used in the manufacture of meth in a wooded area off County Road 12 in Spring Garden. Donnie Lewis Maddox, Jr., 27, has been charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and non-support. Jessica J. Landers, 18, has been charged with 2nd degree manufacturing of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Both individuals are currently incarcerated in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
